Returned and Reviewed!

Posted on:

So, we’re back. For the bazillionth time, thanks to all who came out to the clubs, toasted the record, let us sleep on floors, use laundry machines, cuddle with pets (we should have made a documentary about road pets – you all have some awesome animals out there), bought merch, and welcomed us into the next town and the next and the next. We’ll let you know when we’re out doing it again. (It won’t be long!)

Tour photography is still surfacing, but in the mean time, take a look at this great review by music blog LatestDisgrace.

A teaser: “…if hard-charging rock ‘n’ roll is what you’re looking for, A Man, Not A Biography will be your drink of choice.”

Nice.

‘Burgh through the Midwest

Merchin’

Pittsburgh = awesome. Now, one radio appearance and two shows later, we’ve gone on to burn through Cleveland, Urbana ((with a stop in Chi-town for pizza, ice cream, and some lake Michigan beach time), and tonight, we’re headed to Indianapolis. Check the Tour page for details.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us. You’ll hear from us again when we hit Cincinnati Wednesday.

Only four shows left on the tour!

Adios, NYC.

‘Tiques + Spiders, dark of night, Brooklyn

Thanks, Dirty Spiders (Rush and Adrial immortalized via phone camera above) and Don Pedro’s for having us out last night. Today, we rest in rural PA. Tomorrow, Pittsburgh!

Three things you should know:

9AM, point your internet widgets to WDVE to hear us play live

7PM, point your GPS toward Club Cafe (if you’re in the vicinity)

10PM, just go see us at the 31st Street Pub

That is all.

‘Tiques Take New York

One show in NYC down, one to go. One more chance for New York friends, fam and fans to see the ‘Tiques before we move on to Pittsburgh for a couple shows and an on-air radio date.

Tonight, catch us at Don Pedro in Brooklyn. In the mean time, check out footage of last night’s show at Arlene’s Grocery!

Sorry for the link out, I’d embed, but cannot for the life of me figure that out. Webmaster fail. :(

And…that was Norfolk

Welcome to the ‘Tiques “UH” tour, 2011!

Thanks to Norfolk – we’re now heading out of town, moving on toward Philly tonight. Stay tuned, we’re winging it here. Blake Rainey may do an impromptu solo show in PA this evening…or not. (We’ll let you know when we do). Either way you should definitely check us out in NYC tomorrow night at Arlene’s Grocery.

Now that’s going to be, uh, epic.

Update: No show tonight in Philly. Catch us tomorrow in NYC and Wednesday in Brooklyn!

Tonight: Raleigh

Posted on:

The ‘Tiques take on Raleigh, NC tonight at Slim’s Downtown. Indyweek said some nice things about us in advance of the show (you can ignore the stuff about Richard Baccus in there…we’re not sure what happened to him, but hope he’s ok). Instead, we’ll be sharing the stage with good friends Kyle and Brandi from The Diamond Center, happily picking up the slack all the way from Richmond VA.

Check them out and check us out tonight, NC friends!

Helllooo Charlotte!

Posted on:

We’re on the road to the great state of North Carolina today, ready to blow the doors off the “World Famous” Milestone Club as the very first stop on our east coast tour. If you’re in the NC area tonight, check out what Creative Loafing Charlotte had to say about us (thanks, guys!), and come out to see us and Transmission Fields. Doors at 8PM, music starts at 9.

Here’s what it’ll sound like, approximately.

Thank You!

Thanks to all who supported our Indie GoGo campaign. If you picked a package and gave us your t-shirt size, you’ll be getting your booty in the next week or so.

If you didn’t make it to donating before the campaign ended, you can still help us out, should you desire. Click on the music tab to the left, and be sure to pick up a copy of A Man, Not A Biography, or any of our other albums!

Thanks again,

Blake, Blake and Kevin

VIDEO: F*cked Up In Public

The ‘Tiques tour starts this week, and to kick things off, we’ve released a video for track 11 on A Man, Not A Biography. A thousand thanks to director Jeff Shipman for putting us on (digital) film.
